I have been using the ARES™ Home Sleep test device for years. I love the ARES™ and its many features. As a board-certified sleep physician, that has a sleep lab; I see the ARES™ as the closest to in-lab sleep study in regard to accuracy and validity. ARES™ has EEG and EOG features that can detect sleep time and sleep stages. Also, ARES™ oxygen measurement is most accurate and less likely to have oximeter errors as ARES™ measures it from the patient forehead. In addition, ARES™ is the easiest to use by the patients. If it comes loose, it will alert the patient to fix it, which most of the other HST devices do not, which is why we can get a more accurate study and data. For these reasons, I prefer using ARES™ devices over any other devices on the market.
